Hello everyone! Yes, it’s me - Jerone!
I have decided to contribute to this blog so that it will remain active and what I write here will become part of the cherished memory of 08S05 in time to come! Haha… =)
Here, I will blog about things that I have always wanted to say to the class but have not found the chance to because either my skin is not thick enough or I may say something wrong verbally. =)
SPA is finally over! Let us try to cool down and prepare for the Common Test after the June holidays! Though the tests are just barely two months away, I believe that we as a class will do well!
There have been quite a lot of competitions that have just recently ended or are still ongoing. Congratulations to Indian Dance for winning gold with honours! For those in soccer, table tennis and hockey, I feel that as long as you have tried your best, you are already considered successful. Finally, to those in choir and floorball, do work hard in your upcoming competitions! Here’s wishing you all the best for the next few days of competition! (If I have missed out any CCAs, do feel free to let me know and I will include them in my next blog post!)
The recent Influenza A virus (previously known as swine flu or H1N1) may be scary but I believe that we will tide through this difficult period soon. Do adopt hygienic practices and most importantly, remain optimistic so that you will have enough resistance to fight against the virus!
Speaking of being optimistic, here’s a song that I would like to recommend to the class: Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life! Do continue to stay happy and maybe have a resolution to smile perhaps at least 5 times a day (I just included that in my list of New Year resolutions!). =) =)
Here are the lyrics of the song (I hope that they are correct):
Some things in life are bad,They can really make you mad,Other things just make you swear and curse. When you're chewing on life's gristleDon't grumble, give a whistle. And this'll help things turn out for the best.And....Always look on the bright side of life, (whistle)Always look on the bright side of life, (whistle)If life seems jolly rotten, There's something you've forgotten,And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing. When you're feeling in the dumps,Don't be silly chumps.Just purse your lips and whistle, that's the thing.And...Always look on the bright side of life. (whistle)Come on...Always look on the bright side of life...For life is quite absurd,And death's the final word,You must always face the curtain with a bow.Forget about your sin, Give the audience a grin,Enjoy it - it's your last chance anyhow. So always look on the bright side of death,Just before you draw your terminal breath,-----(Censored)----When you look at it,Life's a laugh and death's a joke,it's true. You'll see it's all a show,Keep 'em laughing as you go.Just remember that the last laugh is on you.And always look on the bright side of life,Always look on the right side of life,Come on guys, cheer up.Always look on the bright side of life.Worse things happen at sea, you know.Always look on the bright side of life.Always look on the bright side of life...Always look on the right side of life...
Finally, I have to say that I have read some of your blogs and I have to acknowledge that I like Ting Soon's use of song lyrics in his blog posts! (Now you can see that I am trying to be a copycat here... =))
Do continue to visit this blog for regular updates! I will be going to talk about love and lectures in my next post!
